Kasedo Games has announced that Rise of Industry 2, the sequel to their successful indie business tycoon simulation, will launch on 3rd June 2025 across PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. Set in 1980s America during a period of economic transformation, the game invites players to build corporate empires through strategic production chains and business networking.
From Factory Floor to Corporate Boardroom
Rise of Industry 2 builds upon its predecessor’s foundation while introducing several ambitious new features. Players will navigate the economic landscape of 1980s USA – a setting ripe with opportunities for innovation, global expansion, and substantial profit-making. The game challenges players to establish complex production networks, cultivate relationships with influential business leaders, and gradually develop their modest startup into a dominant industrial force.
According to the announcement, the sequel brings “fresh ideas to the boardroom” with a stylish visual overhaul that captures the aesthetic of the decade and expanded gameplay mechanics designed to appeal to both newcomers and experienced simulation enthusiasts.
New Features and Expanded Gameplay
A major addition to the sequel is a comprehensive Campaign Mode featuring 15 unique scenarios that guide players through the corporate hierarchy. This structured approach complements the returning Sandbox Mode, where players can exercise complete freedom in building their industrial empires without constraints.
Perhaps the most intriguing new mechanic is the Dynamic Social Connections system. This feature introduces a networking element to the gameplay, allowing players to forge relationships with other CEOs, negotiate material trades, and secure introductions to powerful industry leaders – adding a human dimension to the corporate strategy.
Console Debut for the Series
Notably, Rise of Industry 2 marks the franchise’s first appearance on consoles, with simultaneous releases planned for Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 alongside the PC version. This multi-platform approach should significantly expand the potential audience for the industrial simulation.
The game’s visual direction has been reimagined with a stylized 1980s aesthetic that aims to capture the distinctive look and feel of the decade – a period characterized by bold designs and the early digital revolution.
