Kartrider: Drift. Season 1 has arrived

Get ready to drift your way to victory in the new cross-platform racing game, Kartrider: Drift. Season 1, “New World,” has arrived on PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and it’s bringing two exciting collaborations with it. You can now experience the thrill of racing against PC and mobile players from all over the world, making the competition even more fierce.

Kartrider is a long-standing Franchise

Created by Korean developer Nexon, Kartrider has been going since 2004 with a strong player base from around the world (but particularly in Korea). Drift is the latest iteration of the franchise and is bringing in some new customisations and partnerships to support the new game.

As part of the launch, Nexon is offering two special in-game collaborations with Porsche and MapleStory, which give players an exclusive racing experience for a limited time. During Season 1, you’ll have the chance to race in Porsche’s iconic sports cars, including the 718 Boxster convertible, 911 Turbo S Cabriolet, and Macan GTS, which will be available as karts. Racers who log in during Season 1 can immediately claim the 718 Boxster, and the Macan GTS kart can be claimed by achieving level 30 on the racing pass. And for all you MapleStory fans, two characters from the franchise will make an appearance in the game shortly after Season 1 begins.

But that’s not all. Season 1 also comes packed with eight new race tracks, Item Grand Prix and Speed Grand Prix modes, new karts, and cosmetic items such as characters, emotes, boosters, and license plates. There’s even a brand new season racing pass with normal and premium tiers, so you can compete in style.

If you’re looking for a competitive edge, Kartrider: Drift’s new Upgrade system is sure to impress. Players can not only customize the look of their karts, but they can also fine-tune them to increase their grade from common, fine, to rare, resulting in improved stats and better handling.

The Season 1 “New World” update also brings generous log-in rewards and daily event rewards, ensuring that players have plenty of reasons to keep coming back for more.

To stay up-to-date with all the latest news and information, be sure to follow KartRider: Drift’s Twitch channel and TikTok, and link your Nexon account for exclusive Twitch drops, including a unique decal, license plate, and a new character – “Undercover Sophia.”

So, racers, start your engines and get ready to drift your way to victory in KartRider: Drift’s Season 1. It’s time to show the world what you’ve got!
