GIANTS Software and Straight4 Studios have announced that their upcoming ultra-authentic racing simulation Project Motor Racing will make its UK debut at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed, running from 10th to 13th July 2025. Festival attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to experience the next-generation sim racer ahead of its November 25th launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Hands-On Racing at Motorsport’s Premier Event
The Goodwood Festival of Speed provides the perfect backdrop for Project Motor Racing‘s public debut, with three high-performance racing rigs featuring full sim setups including steering wheels and pedals. Players will be able to test drive four meticulously recreated vehicles: the Lola T70 Mk3B GT, Aston Martin DBR9, Lamborghini Huracán GT3 Evo2, and Panoz LMP1 Roadster S.
The demonstration will feature one of the game’s most detailed tracks, recreated using state-of-the-art scanning technology and environmental modelling. This attention to detail reflects the developers’ commitment to delivering an authentic motorsport experience that captures both the technical precision and emotional intensity of professional racing.

Racing Legends Provide Expert Insight
Adding prestige to the Goodwood appearance, British racing stars Ben Collins and Johnny Herbert will be present at the booth to share their expertise with visitors. Their involvement demonstrates the game’s commitment to authenticity, offering both seasoned sim racers and motorsport enthusiasts the chance to learn from drivers with genuine professional racing credentials.

Next-Generation Racing Technology
Project Motor Racing promises to redefine the racing simulation genre through its comprehensive feature set, including single-player career mode, in-depth online multiplayer, full race weekends, and competitive leaderboards. The game aims to cater to both hardcore sim racers and more casual players seeking an authentic motorsport experience.
The technical foundation rests on GIANTS Software’s next-generation engine, featuring a newly developed 720Hz physics system with refined force feedback, responsive throttle mapping, and detailed car dynamics. These systems have been tested and refined through the exclusive Factory Driver Program, incorporating feedback from elite real-world racers to ensure authenticity.

“True2Track” Environmental System
Perhaps most impressively, the “True2Track” technology promises dynamically changing weather conditions, evolving grip lines, and a complete 24-hour cycle that brings races to life with striking realism. Combined with immersive cockpit physics, heat haze effects, and true-to-life audio design, the game aims to deliver an experience where players can feel every G-force, tyre scrub, and throttle surge.
The Goodwood Festival of Speed demonstration represents a significant milestone for Project Motor Racing, allowing the development team to showcase their work to some of the world’s most knowledgeable motorsport enthusiasts. With its November launch approaching, this preview could prove crucial in establishing the game’s credentials within the competitive racing simulation market.
