Space Trucking Roguelike Stellar Freight: Endless Horizon Gets Limited Playtest

Two Cakes Studio and Satellite235 have launched a time-limited playtest for their upcoming turn-based sci-fi roguelike, Stellar Freight: Endless Horizon. The playtest began on 15th May 2026 and offers players an early glimpse into the challenging world of space trucking in a collapsing galaxy.

In Stellar Freight: Endless Horizon, players take on the role of a space trucker navigating hostile territories whilst managing cargo deliveries, crew recruitment, and tactical combat against pirates. The game promises a unique blend of resource management, ship customisation, and narrative choices that can reshape entire sectors of space. With permadeath mechanics ensuring that every decision carries weight, survival becomes a carefully calculated endeavour rather than a guarantee.

The playtest showcases the game’s core systems, including tactical turn-based combat where players can target specific ship components for strategic advantages. Beyond simple cargo runs, the game features branching story quests that reveal deeper mysteries within the galaxy, with choices that can transform entire regions and unlock new possibilities.

Stellar Freight: Endless Horizon is scheduled for release in Q3 2026 across PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
