Pure Pool Pro Launches With Full Crossplay

Liverpool-based developer Ripstone has announced that Pure Pool Pro, its next-generation cue sports simulation, is heading to Xbox Series X|S on 23rd July 2026. The game has already been available on Steam and PlayStation 5, and this Xbox release brings with it every major content and optimisation update that has rolled out since launch on those platforms, including a full suite of Ranked modes for competitive online play.

Xbox players can look forward to a polished technical experience from day one. Pure Pool Pro runs at 60fps on both Xbox Series consoles, with 4K Native resolution on Xbox Series X and 1440p Native on Xbox Series S. The game uses the same underlying technology as its PC and PS5 counterparts, so the jump to Xbox should feel seamless for anyone familiar with the other versions.

The core content package is fairly substantial. At launch, players will have access to dedicated 8-Ball and 9-Ball career modes, a range of skill-based solo challenges, and ranked online head-to-head play with full crossplay support across all platforms. That crossplay element is worth noting, as it means the Xbox player base will be competing in the same online pool as PS5 and PC players from the start, which should keep matchmaking healthy.

On the cosmetic side, Xbox players will receive a free item pack through the Xbox Store at launch. Three additional paid cosmetic packs, the Classic Item Pack, Cyber Item Pack, and Party Item Pack, will also be available for those who want to personalise their cues, ball sets, and table setup.
