Woodo: Handcrafted Wooden Puzzle Game Captures Childhood Wonder

A charming new puzzle game called Woodo is bringing its handcrafted wooden dioramas to Steam Next Fest, with a demo now available across multiple platforms. The cozy narrative puzzler invites players to assemble beautiful wooden scenes piece by piece, watching as characters and stories gradually come to life.

Woodo follows the adventures of Foxy and Ben the Frog through interconnected dioramas that players can complete at their own pace. Each puzzle piece clicks into place with what the developers describe as a satisfying, tactile sensation, designed to feel like assembling a real wooden toy. The game aims to recapture the wonder of childhood through its charming characters and outdoor adventures.

The demo is currently live on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5, with Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions arriving later this month. The experience features a friendly narrator’s voice and supports English voiceover with subtitles in 19 languages, whilst the full game will include multilanguage voiceover options.
